Yeah honestly way too much happened this week to tell you...so Ill try, and Ill try to make it not too long and somewhat interesting..anyways, turns out me and my companion are the BEST MISSIONARIES IN THE GILA VALLEY WHATS UP SATAN U GOT NUTHIN ON US. So first we meet this guy..named Arthur, he just ran into missionaries on the street and happened to live in our area, so we go over and visit him and he lives in like a $500 trailer. He invites us right in and hes like the nicest most genuine guy ever, hes also lived the roughest life someone can live, has been in prison like 5 times, has 0 family, no job, but a cat, and he just sleeps all day and hes looking for the truth. We go over like every day and teach him, he has tons of crazy questions...we think he had a stroke or something cuz something isnt really ticking in his head :( but still super nice and earnest. So yeah we have taught him a lot and he BELIEVES EVERYTHING WE TELL HIM IS TRUE. Working on dunking this guy. It'll happen. Next we have Duane...CRAZY STORY, so we are deciding on where to go to lunch and me and companion decide on El Charros, d e l i c i o u s, btw. But then we got there and we were both kinda like eh, screw it lets go to subway. So we go. We get out of the car, and literally run into this guy thats like, YOU GUYS ARE MORMON RIGHT? Rough looking guy...like 60's piercings and tatts everywhere, black fingernails, anyway, coolest guy ever, we have like a 45 minute discussion on the gospel, and he was like i just bought this ring yesterday...what does it mean? ITS A MF CTR RING HOLY CRAP. We tell him, and hes like yeah I pretty much wanna be a member of your church, so we are gonna start teaching him :) this was like Saturday, we didnt have time to visit him yesterday. K last but not least...Mark Coleman, his wife is a member, but kinda less active, he is really old, has a few kids with his other wife, now they are grown up, and he has 2 brand new babies with this chick :) he says hes trying to do it right the second time. So we go over yesterday...the missionaries have never got anywhere with him, hes been on probation for DUI and stuff...but he just quit drinking...we went over there and got along with his family way well...and pretty much asked him what he wanted to do with the gospel and he was like...I WANNA GET BAPTIZED AND GO TO THE TEMPLE TO BE SEALED WITH MY NEW WIFE AND KIDS FOR TIME AND ALL ETERNITY HOLY CRAP OBVIOUSLY THE MISSION IS GOING PRETTY GOOD.
So yeah, we are teaching him starting tomorrow :)
